About Harvest ale: Harvest Ale is a "wet-hopped" beer. Hops are harvested in late August through September, and most are immediately dried, baled, and eventually pelletized for future use. Wet-hopped beers are brewed with the freshly picked hops straight from the field, which results in the hops retaining some of the more volatile aromatics that can be driven off during the drying process. It's the freshest, hoppiest thing you can possibly drink, and it makes us hop heads go crazy (in a good way). This year's batch is made with freshly picked Chinook hops from our friends at Hop Head Farms in Baroda, Michigan.
